Hi Grade Prep/One and Grownups,

It's hard to believe we are almost half way through term two. I think you are all doing an amazing job of helping your children learn online and navigating the technology that goes along with it. I thankyou and your children for your support and understanding as we slide into Week 5!

As always, please let me know if you're having problems or have any questions.

This week your child will need to be uploading one completed maths task and one completed literacy task each day via Google Classrooms. This is so that I can assess their progress, assist as necessary and report at the end of term. Therefore, I have specified which tasks I need to see on Google Classrooms. When the maths task is a game or physical activity, feel free to take a photo of it in action and submit that on Google Classrooms.

If you are having trouble accessing Google Classrooms, there are step by step instructions on Compass for you to follow. On Google Classrooms there is a video explaining how to upload. Don't forget you can also pop a comment up with your submission or in the stream. Just remember, everyone can see the stream, but if you comment with your submission then that's private. You can also email me directly via Google Classrooms.

Tip- If you have the 'notes' app on your apple device you can use that to scan documents. Google it!

I hope you have all managed to navigate Key Links for reading tasks and that students are enjoying those activities. I would also like to start listening to students read aloud. I will be emailing out a reading timetable so you know when to meet me on Webex.

I am looking forward to seeing all of your crazy hats at our special Webex assembly on Thursday at 1.30pm

Here is my timetable of availability.

As always please feel free to email or Webex if you have any questions, queries and or concerns.

Ms D

Draw a picture of the amimal in the ‘what does it look like’ section of page 26. (Feel free to copy the sections of page 26 into your writing book instead of printing the sheet if you like).

Then have a go at completing drawings for the rest of page 26 to complete your plan. You will need this plan tomorrow, so don’t lose it!
